77,000 witness Republic Day parade; Delhi covered in thick security blanket
People of all age groups from different walks of life across the country witnessed the Republic Day parade on Kartavya Path in Delhi on Sunday as the national capital was secured by more than 15,000 security personnel and 2,500 CCTV cameras. A sense of pride pervaded the event with many having the national flag painted on their faces and many expressing their excitement of having watched the event in person.
